A new law in Texas allows public schools to display “In God We Trust” signs if they are donated or purchased from private donors.

Schools have begun hanging the signs. The Carrol Independent School District in the northern Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is placing the signs in public areas.

Patriot Mobile, a Christian conservative wireless provider, provided the signs.

Other schools in the Houston area and Austin also hanged similar signs.

The signs must also display the U.S. flag, the Texas flag, and the national motto.

According to NBC5, the founder of the Southlake Anti-Racism Coalition raised concerns claiming that the new law adds to the dissolution of the separation of church and state.

“I feel like they don’t have a choice right now to put them up,” Kushwaha said. “ But hopefully this will spark larger conversations about having more freedom of expression, so if they are allowed to put up signs like this there should be no reasons that other students or people can’t put up signs that have different messaging.”

  1. There in separation of Church and state in the US Constitution. The first Amendment states that our government can’t enforce a religion upon us like they did in England. Great Job Texas

    1. Enforcing GOD and educating about GOD are two different things. People don’t seem to mind In GOD We Trust printed on every piece of money that is produced in the USA. Wonder what GOD would think about these divisions?

    2. You mean like Atheism!
No were does it say separation of Church and State in US Constitution. NO WHERE.
Freedom of Religion only occurs in a Christian Nation… it’s foundational to Christianity! Does Atheism proclaim that? Nnnnggg… not so much.
Done in the Year of Our Lord 1787… refers specifically to Jesus Christ. U.S. Constitution.

  2. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

There is nothing in that that says anything about separation of church and state except that congress can make no law establishing a religion nor prohibiting free exercise of religion.

  3. Romans 1:18-32 speaks of men denying the Creator God and the consequences of this absence of belief. God states that thinking themselves wise, we will become fools. He then says that men will have sex with men and women will have sex with women. God states that He Himself will abandon these people to a “reprobate” mind and there will be diseases given to these people because they earned it.
Has there been an uptick in sodomites? Is there any connection to sodomy and HIV and Monkey pox? How about Hepatitis and dozens of other maladies that thrive in the homosexual community? Is there an uptick in people that believe men can get pregnant? Can these people even determine who is male and female anymore? That is textbook “Reprobate” or debased minds. These people are demonic and they are running the country right now. Bring prayer and Bible reading back to school before we loose our country to Satan completely.
