Joe Biden falsely claimed on Wednesday during his Michigan speech that more than 6,000 members of the US military died from Coronavirus.
Joe Biden struggled to read his list of statistics and vastly overstated both the number of US military infections and deaths due to COVID-19.
First, Biden struggled to find his “schedule” which he said he “carries in his pocket every day”, but seemed confused as to where it (or his own staff) was today:
Ah wait…they finally found the “schedule”, on which Joe apparently keeps a running tab of COVID-19 infections and deaths in the U.S. military.
Just one problem: his tab is completely wrong…
“Military COVID infected: 118,984,” Biden said while struggling to read from his list. “Military COVID deaths: 6,114.”
While every life lost is tragic, according to the Department of Defense, approximately 40,000 military members got infected with Covid-19 and seven died from Covid-19.
Close, Joe! You were only off by 873%!
It was not Joe’s only moment of confusion at today’s train wreck of an appearance in Michigan, at which the Chinese government-endorsed Biden tried to pretend only he (and not Trump who has levied billions in tariffs on them) would get “tough on China.”
Joe’s infamous battles with his own teleprompter continued today, pretty much like this…
President Trump weighed in on Biden’s bizarre teleprompter issues on the FoxNews show “Hannity” this evening, in particular accusations that the media has been feeding Biden’s staff questions so they can put the answers on screen for him to read — just as CNN’s Donna Brazille did for Hillary ion the 2016 debate that network hosted:
Will the Democrats insist on teleprompters at the debates? Will there even BE debates?
What excuse will they come up with to prevent this train wreck of a candidate from having to face an actual opponent — Donald J. Trump, no less — when he can barely even manage to read pre-written answers off a screen?
