A CNN chyron reporting on the riots exploding in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the early hours of Tuesday morning appeared to have gone unnoticed.

“Fiery But Mostly Peaceful Protests After Police Shooting,” the news network’s television headline blared while its reporter, Omar Jimenez, stood in front of several burning cars.

The footage features Jiminez explaining to viewers that while the city burns to the ground behind him, the so-called protesters destroying the blue-collar midwestern town were being “mostly peaceful.”

“What you’re seeing behind me is one of multiple locations that have been burning in Kenosha, Wisconsin, over the course of the night,” Jiminez said, reporting that daytime demonstrations marked a stark contrast to the riots occurring behind him after Jacob Blake’s shooting by Kenosha police on Sunday. “The common theme that ties all of this together is an expression of anger and frustration over what people feel like has become an all-too-familiar story.”

A Black Criminal gets killed by a cop and simply Because he is Black all the other Black people and dumb Whites go nuts. Yet no one says a word about all the little kids Black and White killed by Black People in random drive by shootings which happen Constantly. I Guess Black-on–Black and Black-on-White killing is OK then? All this rioting is doing is creating More hate against Black people and is not helping them at all but they r to uneducated to realize that. They r raised on violence and look for Any excuse to use it. They r making more problems for themselves.

Yes it seems so. Cannon gets executed in the street gets far less play than career criminals resisting arrest being killed. The Black cop who said he should ducked, not being made villains. Funny how this works. What Kyle did is the first, of many I would bet. People are sick of these “peaceful” protest that destroy peoples ability to take care of their families and will start defending, or calling for help, as was the case here. They do not take responsibility for the actions of theirs. You commit a crime, cops will come, you resist arrest you will get hurt or killed, you attack innocent people long enough they will fight back, or in this case, put out help requests for people to come fight back, which Kyle did. Not saying Kyle was right or wrong, what i am saying is he would not have been there to shoot those people if those people were not out throwing bricks at cops and burning cars and businesses in the community resulting in the community calling for help.
