As we reported this morning, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) deleted a famous cameo scene featuring Donald Trump in its broadcast of the 1992 film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, on Christmas Eve.
(The cameo is a whopping 7 SECONDS!)
Well now Trump himself has responded to the firestorm, by joking that the state-run network’s censorship may have been arranged by the pretender himself, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Trudeau is known to hold a major grudge against Trump, after the President made a fool out of him on trade, NATO, climate and a host of other issues at global conferences.
Trump followed up by tweeting that “the movie would never be the same,” but noted that it was all in good fun.
Trudeau was caught on a “hot mic” bashing Trump after a NATO conference in which Trump forced Canada to pay billions more for defense, after decades of not paying their fair share.
