Rep. Ilhan Omar is reeling after reports broke yesterday that she allegedly broke up the marriage of Tim Mynett, one of her political consultants. Divorce papers filed by Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett claim her husband admitted to the affair.

Now, the Minnesota Congresswoman could face possible prison time for illegally funneling hundreds of thousands in campaign funds to Mynett.

In fact, a Republican Congressman is currently being prosecuted by U.S. Attorneys for doing exactly that — facing huge fines and five years in jail time if convicted of offenses that pale in comparison to Omar’s massive diversion of funds to her alleged lover.

Let’s look at the facts. Rep. Ilhan Omar was accused of having an affair with a married man, whom she allegedly funneled large sums of money to through her campaign. The claim was made in divorce documents filed this week.

“Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative and that he even made a ‘shocking declaration of love’ for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched her, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday,” The New York Post reported.

Court documents reviewed by The Post said that Tim Mynett, 38, and Jordan Mynett, 55, “physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar.”

The Post added: “The 37-year-old congresswoman and mom of three paid Tim Mynett and his E. Street Group approximately $230,000 through her campaign since 2018 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising, and travel expenses.

The only problem is Mr. Mynett’s job description had nothing to do with traveling, according to his wife in the divorce papers. Tim Mynett’s “extensive travel” with Omar isn’t exactly part of his job description, the document says.

A government watchdog group is filing a complaint against US Rep. Ilhan Omar with the Federal Election Commission — after The Post revealed allegations that she’s dating one of her paid consultants.

“This arrangement where Ilhan is paying her lover consulting fees could be illegal if he’s not doing the work,” said National Legal and Policy Center Chairman Peter Flaherty. “And we’ll be asking the FEC for an investigation to determine the nature and level of his work product.”

London’s Daily Mail recently posted photographs of Omar and Tim Mynett dining alone in a posh Los Angeles restaurant in March, which was a day after she made much-criticized remarks at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) banquet characterizing the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people did something.”

Investigative reporters Jordan Schachtel and Luke Rosiak both weighed in on the financial disclosures that were made in the report. They are highly suspect of the”travel expenses” since it’s quite possible Omar was funding her affair which would mean possible prison time.

Schachtel sarcastically tweeted: “Oh okay. No corruption there.”

Rosiak tweeted: “Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) is being criminally prosecuted and facing prisonfor using campaign funds to fund extramarital affairs. What will the Minnesota U.S. Attorney do?”

Hunter is being prosecuted and could face a minimum of five years in prison for one Lake Tahoe ski trip in 2009 that he allegedly paid for entirely with campaign money, including a $351 car rental, $180 plane ticket and a $1,008 hotel tab with his mistress. Prosecutors described the spending down to a $7 beer he purchased in the resort bar, The Los Angeles Times reports.

Less than $2,000 for his affairs could cost Hunter his seat and 5 years in jail. By contrast Omar diverted hundreds of thousands to her lover.

Investigative reporter David Steinberg, who has extensively reported on the marriage fraud allegations against Omar, noted that Omar allegedly entering the couple’s home while the wife was away was a damning indictment on her moral judgment.

“I’ve avoided @IlhanMN’s affair. The only newsworthy element was the large payments,” Steinberg tweeted. “But … Omar *entered the wife’s home while she was away*. WOW. Voters deserve to know that.”

“That is an objectively disturbing claim about @IlhanMN’s moral judgment,” Steinberg continued. “It has nothing to do with complicated adult relationships. Entering the home, even if invited by Mynett, is troubling. Still think she can’t be the multiple felon all the evidence shows her to be?”

Well, we know how Omar is going to handle this. It will be the same way she handles the accusations she married her brother even though there have been multiple investigative reports. She denies it all.

The Minnesota Congresswoman was asked last night about the claims in Mrs. Mynett’s divorce papers on WCCO television, and Omar denied that she is separated or dating outside her marriage.

However, she cut off a further inquiry about the Mynett divorce. “I have no interest in really allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue,” she said.

That’s really odd. Her own political consultant who was named as her married lover, Tim Wynett, isn’t denying it. And how can she deny she isn’t separated from Ahmed Hirsi who she just married in 2018 after multiple reports said she “split” with Hirsi and moved into her own “penthouse?”

The 37-year-old Muslim Congresswomen attempted to act as if nothing was wrong on social media last night, but Americans flooded her Twitter feed with highly negative remarks.

Omar tweeted: “It’s going to take all of us coming together to combat climate change. There’s no place for ego in this fight.” Americans found her tweeting about climate change a little too hypocritical and let her know it.

“Given the news that came out today, it’s hard to believe that this person is still telling us how to act,” tweeted Michael E. Newton.

Twitter user “The Ryan” sent Omar a very popular meme that showed Ilhan as one of the Spice Girls holding signs that read: “If You Wanna Be My Lover You Gotta Be My Brother.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar is also being investigated currently by Freedom Watch who is dealing with her alleged marriage to her brother Ahmed Nur Said.

They are hoping to refer the matter to the Department of Justice soon.

Well, enough is enough. It’s time to investigate these campaign funds that went to Tim Mynett to see exactly what was going on with his “travel expenses.” The trip last March to Los Angeles is highly suspect since they were spotted out to dinner alone. Of course, the mainstream media is tip-toeing around this new scandal so it will take patriotic Americans to apply pressure to make sure Ilhan Omar is brought to justice in the long run.
