Just as they’ve done before, residents in Murrieta, California have rejected Border Patrol plans to ship “migrants” to their town, and they don’t care if anyone calls them a “racist” for it.
In 2014, residents forced Obama’s DHS to back down from plans to ship thousands of illegal aliens to the Murrieta BP facility, and they are prepared to do the same again five years later.
CBS-Los Angeles reports:
An unknown number of migrants were recently flown into Murrieta’s Border Patrol facility and some in the community were quick to stand in front of the gates to let them know they’re not welcome to stay.
Murrieta resident Bob Kowell says he’s all for legal immigration but told CBSLA’s Nicole Comstock that a source informed him of 100 undocumented immigrants being flown in from the Texas border to San Diego, then bussed to Murrieta over the weekend to be processed.
“We can be called a racist and we’ll just smile. Because we don’t care,” said Kowell. “We’re watching to see where and when they’ll move.”
The Murrieta Police Department is denying that Border Patrol is about to ship migrants there, but residents with insider sources aren’t buying it.
They heard the same claims in 2014, when Obama tried to ship illegals there in the dead of night — and residents blocked buses to force them to turn back
As Townhall remembers:
Back in 2014, the Department of Homeland Security took illegal aliens captured in Texas, flew them to California and eventually bussed them to the small yet conservative town of Murrieta, about 70 miles north of San Diego. When residents in Murrieta and the surrounding community received word of what was taking place, patriots gathered outside of the Border Patrol Station to protest the release of illegal aliens into the community. They successfully turned a DHS bus aroundand kept it from entering the BPS facility.
For over a month, patriots camped out overnight and took shifts watching the station to make sure DHS was unable to dump the aliens at the station when residents least expected it. DHS tried to drop the aliens off three different times before giving up. They eventually canceled their fourth scheduled drop off.
And despite denials by Murrieta police and DHS, residents have seen other towns get hit with migrants, like San Bernardino:
And they are letting the government know: NOT IN OUR TOWN.
