Ilhan Omar’s Description of 9/11 Attacks Sparks Immediate Outrage

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar was the featured speaker at CAIR-LA’s annual Valley Banquet. CAIR-LA was “honored to have” her.

Of course they were honored. What better treat for a terror-linked organization like CAIR than to sit listening to a terrorist apologist refuse to acknowledge a terrorist act as terrorism:

9/11: The Day That Some People Did Something.

Needless to say, that didn’t sit well with actual Americans.

Veteran Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) was incensed:

And bizarrely, Omar was also lying about CAIR.

The detestable organization wasn’t founded because of the attacks on September 11, 2001 because it was founded in Washington, D.C. in 1994. So it’s rather odd to suggest it was because of 9/11.

As the Daily Caller notes, CAIR has was listed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) as an unindicted co-conspirator in funneling millions of dollars to Hamas.

Hundreds of people protested outside the CAIR event, supporting Israel and objecting to Omar’s multiple anti-Semitic and anti-American remarks.

It wasn’t the first time Omar uttered outrageous statements about 9/11 and terrorism:
